Tenderness is your answer

The holidays can be a tender time…no matter our experience. 

And whichever holidays you invite into your life…I invite you to pay closer attention to the wisdom they offer you. 

Tenderness has intention to it (if we’re brave enough to not armor up the moment we feel it coming on). It pierces our skin for a reason…it’s trying to get to our life. To help us get to our life. 

Tenderness will help us see more clearly the brutality of humanity…but also the beauty of it.  

Tenderness will teach us where we need to open our hands to let something go that just isn’t working anymore and where we need to open our hands to give more (whether that’s to ourselves or to others). 

Tenderness will soften you, that’s for sure, but it will strengthen you in ways that make this life so. much. more. graceful. It will build a core of drive and depth, courage and compassion, purposefulness and playfulness. 

Tenderness is the elixir to our truth, our integrity, and our source of power…love.
