Hurt people, hurt people. Healed people, heal people.

This world doesn’t simply need better leadership; it needs leaders who are relentless about their own healing.

And when I speak about leadership, I’m not simply talking about government and corporations. I’m talking about all of us, because leadership belongs to all of us.

We are all influencers.

In our families, relationships, work in the world, and communities…we are modeling what is acceptable and what is not, through who we are being. Our values show through our behaviors, not our words. And who we are being and the values we act upon, are directly related to our level of healing (which has everything to do with nervous system regulation).

If our nervous system is constantly on high alert and triggering narratives of protection, it can be deeply challenging to show up in the world with the very things leadership require of us, things such as:

Discernment, rather than judgement

Presence, rather than projection

Self-awareness, rather than self-entitlement

Width in capacity, rather than narrowness in capacity

When I created Boundless, I wanted to unite healing and leadership, not only in theory, but in practice.

What typical yoga teacher trainings are often missing, is the deep nervous system healing that is needed to step up in front of others and hold truly transformational space (whether this is simply in a conversation with your partner or standing in front of a room of people).

I wanted this to be a training that graduates yoga teachers into this world who have deep dived into their own nervous system healing, before holding that space for others. And while this work is ongoing, and it takes time to be a keeper of space with grace and skill, I have seen students bloom in the this training beyond their expectations, over and over again.

Many go on to teach within days of graduating, which speaks in of itself, to the level of nervous system repair that unfolds in this training.

Graduates of Boundless leave knowing in their bones that they are role models for embodied leadership. This changes how you show up and changes what shows up for you, as well.

Boundless is an intimate community of 12 students on a journey towards deep nervous system repair. It’s a place to be seen, heard, and held with depth, deep care, and reverence. It is the place where healing and leadership unite.

If you’re devoted to creating a life that feels wide and highly resourced, I invite you to explore BOUNDLESS: a 200-hour yoga teacher training + mindfulness-based leadership program

Boundless is a yoga teacher training based in Reno, NV

TESTIMONIALS:

Amber's 200-hour YTT is one of the best investments I have made for my personal growth. Finding Amber changed my view and relationship with yoga on a fundamental level. I cannot recommend this course enough to people. Coming into the course, I wasn't sure if I wanted to teach yoga and whether this course would be too intense or maybe even boring after a while but I was blown away by the curriculum progression and the offerings we were all able to participate in. It feels like a combination of self-healing, leadership, micro-MBA, and yoga asana/science/anatomy/philosophy in one.

I found the embodiment leadership component of the course to be the most valuable to my journey. Coming into this YTT, I was looking for tools to improve my management of some unique and intense stress and challenges in life. Not only did I walk away better equipped with tools, I also became hyper aware of myself and how I was showing up in my surroundings. I found myself more poised in stressful situations and more able to articulate what I needed without escalating the narrative into less productive outbursts.

Amber's authenticity, vulnerability, and transparency truly makes her a master of her craft. I cannot imagine a better person to take someone through the YTT than Amber. I feel truly grateful for the community she built with the yoga kula that were my peers throughout this journey. We learned, we laughed, we cried, and we grew together into the next versions of ourselves. I believe Amber's YTT is the top course in the country, if not the continent. What an absolute gift that we get to partake in this here in Reno! I lived in Incline Village (lake tahoe area) and was able to drive in every time we had the intensive weekends and it was totally do-able. I found that every weekend I entered the YTT tired from work or feeling down, I always left on Sunday feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. If you're on the fence at all, I highly encourage you to take the plunge! WEI W. (CLASS OF 2024)

A genuine immersion in modern yoga, Boundless calls upon the deep history, philosophy, spirituality and practices of yoga well beyond that of the proper teaching of asanas. The aspects of healing, mindfulness, humanity, and leadership are foundational and thread throughout the YTT. Amber's background in holistic health, Capoeira, bodywork, trauma therapy, and leadership coaching come together in her offering to help us integrate our daily lives into our profound existence. Practical, but playful, Amber has impacted my life in the most profound of ways. My gratitude for her honing and sharing her own journey and transformation is beyond words. We should all be so fortunate to soak up what Amber has to offer! MATT B. (CLASS OF 2023)

"Four years of therapy couldn’t teach me what Amber did in four months - that embodiment is the key, and you can’t think your way into it (or out of it). I have deepened not only my asana practice, but also my self-trust and worth, my spiritual devotion, and even my personal relationships. This is a holistic program that provides holistic results. I had no idea how far outside of my comfort zone a Yoga Teacher Training would take me, or how far-reaching the results would be. Amber is a healer. She’s a bodyworker, an energy mover, a poet whose words will stop you in your tracks. Each of the modalities that Amber has woven through Boundless contributed, bit by bit, to my full surrender to the beauty of the universe. So, yeah, it’s about a lot more than perfecting downward-facing dog.”- RACHEL H.
