More about what’s in these rituals

Dynamic Release Flow (aka DynAmic release method)

The flow is both silky and strong, focusing on clearing stuck energy in the body and mind through accessing your subtle body. In a D.R.M class, you will use the breath and mindfulness to stay connected to sensation, gracefully moving through postures as if you’re moving through saltwater or doing Qi gong, letting the breath become radiant in its guidance. In the last 10 minutes of class, we go deeper into balancing the nervous system by doing self-myofascial release using tennis balls. The result is a heart-centering, body-opening, and soul-expanding release. D.R.M will challenge you, illuminate you, and create an incredibly strong and resilient body and mind. (new moon)

Somatic Breathwork

Somatic breathwork is based off the work of David Elliot’s 2-part Pranayama Meditation. Its effects can be likened to holotropic and/or Wim Hof breathwork, though I find this practice to be more accessible and heart-opening in nature. I incorporate breath retentions (kumbhakas), along with bodywork and somatic release. It’s VERY powerful and transformative work. (full moon)

Self Discovery Work

In both the new and full moon we not only do embodiment practices, but we also engage in deep reflective journaling with writing prompts. The prompts are deeply insightful and designed to open you up to your innate creative self-expression. Often in the shares, it feels as though we’re being read poetry and experiencing deep healing through witnessing another in their vulnerable authenticity. (both new + full moon)

Energy Work

Yoga, breathwork, meditation, and writing practices can be VERY energetic methods intended to awaken the subtle body and its innate ability to heal. From learning to self-regulate your nervous system to enhancing your intuition, these practices will have a profound impact on you energetically. (both new + full moon)
